Token enabled email subject lines have been added to the configuration of documents and email templates, similar to current alert functionality. Admin can now define email subject lines on templates so that company users are not required to enter one at the time of the email. Tokens can also be used for subject lines that change based on the referenced form.
To add/modify your email subject lines do the following:
- Go to the template you wish to modify: Setup > Documents & Templates (under Data Management)
- Select the template you wish to modify, or select new template (note: this will only work for Email/PDF template types)
- Enter free text and insert (copy/paste) tokens in the email subject line (note: the available tokens depend on the base form)
- Click Save to finish
