Transport Workflow

Click on New Dispatch to create a new transport job.


Choose the job type as transport and then fill out the ticket.


*Important note* Ready for dispatch defaults to Not Ready. If the transport job needs to be dispatched immediately the ready for dispatch field will need to be changed to Ready.


If the job is not ready to be dispatched, the job will appear in the Load Board, which you can access from the grey shortcut bar.


The default view for the transport view will show transport jobs that the promised time of arrival is in the next 24 hours.


From this list view you can mass update the tickets you want to be ready for dispatch. Click HERE to learn how to mass update.


The full dispatch list on your dispatch dashboard will show you all jobs that have been created, but if you want to see a filtered view of just the transport jobs that are ready to be dispatched, select Transport from the drop down list on the top left of the page. If you do not wish to use the ready for dispatch view, you can use the appointment time feature and set all transport jobs to ready. Click HERE to learn more about appointments.
