Driver Reference Guide

Logging In/Out

  • After downloading the Omadi app, open it and enter the following information:
    • Client Account: The Company’s Omadi account name (what comes before ".omadi.com")
    • Username: Username provided by Tow company
    • Password: Provided By Tow Company
    • Agree with terms of service by clicking the check box
    • Click login - First initial Login may take a few minutes to boot up and sync information.
    • Every time after the first log in, you only need to type in your password.

    • Logging out
      • Go to the Home Page and click on the grey button on the top of the page that says Log Out
      • The logout button will only appear on the Home Page

Vehicle Sign In and Out

  • Upon log in, Omadi will ask you to select a truck by default. (as long as the Remind to Select a Truck checkbox is checked on your user profile)

    • Select the truck you will be driving
    • Perform a Pre-Trip Inspection by reviewing the previous (if any)

  • Fill out required information (anything in red)
    • Then click the blue Actions button in the top right
    • Press Save

  • Signing Out of Vehicle
    • When you are no longer using the vehicle you are logged into, to log out of the vehicle: 
      • From the Home Page click on the blue Actions  button on the top right of the page and then select Done With Vehicle.
      • Perform a Post-Shift Inspection when prompted.
        • Fill out required information (anything in red)
        • Then click the blue Actions button in the top right
          • Press Save
      • From that same screen, click Choose a Vehicle to sign into another truck.

Reset all data

Reset all data if syncing is not working properly. (i.e. jobs are not appearing when they should.)

  • To reset all data:
    • Go to the home page
    • Click on the blue Actions button on the top right of the screen
    • Click on the red button that says Reset All Data.
      • You might need to scroll down
    • Confirm you want to reset all data by clicking Delete It.
  • It will take a few minutes to restore.

Tow Job Workflow

  • Accepting Job
    • From the Home Page click on Jobs at the bottom of the screen.
    • Select a job from the New Jobs region

    • Accept the job
      • Click on Accept Job
        • Now the job will move down to your Open Jobs region

Job Option Menu

  • Navigate to job
    • Click Navigate to generate a route to the start address of tow
      • Once you click on Navigate you will be directed to a GPS app on your phone and the Tow start address will auto populate in your destination address. 
  • Discontinue Job
    • Click on Job Discontinued if the job falls into one of these categories:
      • Gone on arrival
      • Expired
      • ETA too long
      • Refused the job
      • Failed to complete.
  • Edit Job
    • Click on Edit to fill out additional information or revise previous entries on the tow ticket
  • View Job
    • Click on View to quickly look at the Tow Ticket

  • At Scene
    • Once the driver has arrived at the Tow Start Address, they will need to follow these steps to enter the information required At Scene:
      • 1. Open the Omadi app again
      • 2. Click on the Job Screen again if they are not already there
      • 3. Click on the Job again and from the Job Option Menu press Update Status 
      • 4. Click on At Scene
      • 5. You will be prompted to enter information for the ticket.
      • 6. Fill out everything and then click on the blue Actions button on the top right of the page and click Save.
        • If  something is red it has to be filled before the data can be saved.

  • At Destination
    • Once the Driver has arrived at the Tow Destination Address or the Tow Yard, repeat steps 1-3 from at scene.
    • 4. After selecting Update Status, Click on At Destination

    • 5. You will be prompted to enter information for the ticket.
    • 6. Fill out everything and then click on the blue Actions button on the top right of the page and click Save.
      • If  something is red it has to be filled before the data can be saved.

Job Complete

  • Once the Driver has saved the At Destination:
  • 1. Click on the Job again and from the Job Option Menu press Update Status 
  • 2. Click on Job Complete
    • This will remove the job from your Jobs board and close the job.
  • Click on a new job to start over

View Recent Jobs

  • To view Recent Jobs
    • From the Home Page click Recent on the black bar at the bottom of the Page 
      • There are Two Tabs.
        • Recently Viewed and Recently Saved
    • Recently Viewed
      • Anything you have recently viewed.
      • Not just being on a page, actually pressing view. I.E. viewing reports or job summaries, etc.
    • Recently Saved
      • Any recent action you saved
    • From the Top Search Bar you can look up for old jobs/ actions by searching information about the tow (i.e. vin, license plate #, etc.)
